Daisy Maude is a contemporary pop music artist with a striking sound that resonates the heights and depths of the landscape of her native Arizona. For Daisy, music is above all an emotional experience, a guiding light that can deepen one’s emotional attentiveness. Her poignant voice vividly captures the pictorial surroundings of the landscape of her home, while her lyrics echo strength and emotion.
Born at the foot of the highest mountains of the state in Flagstaff, Daisy’s world was transformed when she first heard the music of Ella Fitzgerald. Entranced by her voice, Daisy would spend hours learning to sing like her. She also learned to play the bass, acoustic guitar, and sing, and also began songwriting. The songstress went on to study at the Berklee College of Music to refine her art.
While music has been Daisy’s main calling in life, she also enjoys the company of her Black Siberian Forest cat Lincoln, and remains passionate about outdoor life, riding as fast as she can on her mountain bike and her snowboard.
Daisy Maude’s musical artistry is an integral part of her life, her lens to the world, her way to provoke thoughts while staying playfully high-spirited. She has recorded several songs with L.A. based producer Davy Nathan (Mary J Blige, Robin Thicke, Toni Braxton, Philip Lawrence), and is expected to release multiple singles this fall as well as a debut EP in January 2019.
